About TMT Taxis

I, Trevor Tomes started my company in October 2009. I have lived in Uckfield for 40 years so know the area quite well, I made the decision to invest in a modern 8 passenger VolksWagen Shuttle minibus so we would be able to cover all types of Taxi work. We realised there is a need for more taxi’s in Uckfield especially on a Friday & Saturday evening/night and being so close to major airports the shuttle was the perfect choice.

 

There are 2 passenger seats in the front with 2 rows of 3 forward facing seats with  a large luggage area at the rear. We have air conditioning and a CD player installed (you are more than welcome to bring your own music) and we hope to have DVD screens fitted to the headrests in the near future. We also have a portable step to assist the less mobile.

 

It is the perfect vehicle for the Airport runs and if there are 4 or less people you only pay the Taxi rate, so for the same price as a car you get all the travel and luggage space of a minibus and because it is a long wheel base we can carry 8 adults with 8 suitcases. If you have young children we do ask that you supply your own safety seats. However we can store them for your return trip.

We offer special prices for return trips to the main towns of Brighton, Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead regardless of the return time, so if you are going clubbing give us a call and if you get a better price let us know. If we can match it or beat it we will

 

We make every effort not to overbook as our aim is to arrive on time, every time. With that in mind we ask all our customers if possible, to be ready at the requested time so we can keep our commitment to the next customer.
